Most people don't realise how much the body adapts to daily habits.
If you've been dealing with recurring pain, tension, or stiffness, your body may have been quietly compensating for a while. A thorough assessment is where we start to understand what's actually going on.

Waking up stiff every morning?
Neck pain after a day at the computer?
Headaches that keep coming back?
Feeling like your body isn't recovering the way it used to?
Stretching, massage and painkillers only helping temporarily?
If so, the first step is finding out why.
Most people don't realise how much the body adapts to daily habits.
Long hours at a desk. Stress. Repetitive movements. Old injuries.
Over time, your body finds ways to cope and compensate. The challenge is that these compensations can gradually show up as recurring pain, stiffness, tension, or reduced movement.
Many people spend years chasing symptoms.

➜ Stretching
➜ Pain relief medication
➜ Exercises found online
Sometimes these can help in the short term. But if nobody takes the time to understand what’s contributing to the problem in the first place, it can continue to return.
At Northbridge Chiropractic, our goal is to identify the underlying factors that may be influencing how you’re moving and feeling. We start with a thorough assessment, taking the time to review your health history, assess your posture and movement and talk you through what we find.

Step 1: Health History
We take the time to understand your full picture. They want to know what your days look like, what makes things better or worse and how long this has been going on.
Step 2: Assessment
Your posture, movement and nerve function are assessed using a combination of physical examination and digital imaging. If X-rays are needed for a clearer picture, these are available in-house.
Step 3: Adjustment (if appropriate)
An adjustment may be provided during your first visit. This is tailored to your assessment findings, not a one-size approach.
